This event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required for admittance. Tickets are limited to one per person, and each registrant must provide their name to help us ensure a safe and well-organized event. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate walk-ins due to venue capacity and security considerations.
This November, Portland voters will elect a mayor with a new job description, using a new voting method that allows them to rank up to six candidates.Starting January 2025, the mayor will no longer serve on the City Council. Instead, the mayor will appoint a city administrator to work with them in implementing the laws and policies set by the Council and managing all city bureaus.
